This was not a good film. time magazine says this film is hilarious. I want to work for an animation company & I could watch cartoons until my eyes popped out & this film didn't make me laugh out loud once.
this film tried far too hard to be funny & cool & never even came close. it just came off as awkward. too much of this film made no sense & was far too easy. Luna just held onto the top of the ship as they were landing? she get blown off AFTER? the music was a tad odd at points.
the animation was blatantly poor at points. if you watch the mouths of any character speaking, the lips always seemed to move slower than the speech. not like the sound didn' t match up...it's hard to explain.
the movement of the lava/freeze stuff was far too rigid, as well. not sure why they're making a sequel.
