Space Chimps isn't horrible. But it certainly isn't good. Some jokes work, most of them don't. The story is garbage, and the characters are mostly uninteresting. The other planet is full of ugly as sin locations and creatures.
With no real motive, Space Chimps meanders through several scenes that all seem to be from a different movie. The pop culture references are embarrassing, and the ham hashed voice acting is unbearable.
I really don't wish to say anything else about it. Just don't see it. Just don't. Don't take your kids to it. Don't see it.
