Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Brian C — 06 May 2008
I am a sucker for grade B SciFi. This is a remarkably prescient film. It predicts global warming, over-population, serious economic issues, shortages of just about everything (except people). I was never really a Heston fan (and I do wonder if someone pried his gun from his cold, dead hands when he died).
This was my second viewing, and it still retained something for me, despite knowing the secret of Soylent Green.
