Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Patrick D — 17 Jul 2008
You know, grim future type flicks are really hard to be un-enjoyed by me, but if they aren't good, they aren't good, and I recognize that. This one isn't bad, this one kicks alot of ass. And actually gave me alot to think about at work the next day, for example: would the government actually get rid of flavours and such, when they make so much money with them? But at the same time it's gotten to a point where they can't stay rich and support all people, who they are supposed to keep alive as long as that's the will of them, so they streamline all food to make cheap ways to keep people alive.
Plus at the same time they have run low on natural resources, something the higher ups would want to keep for themselves. But I'm going on a tangent.
