Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Mikey M — 20 Oct 2010
"Mmmmm, Soylent Green".
Gets better each time I watch it. While it's a bit dated visually, the intelligence of this film doesn't diminish. Edward G. Robinson is brilliant is his final film role, especially considering he was almost completely deaf by this time. It's a dystopian gem and I kinda like the aging production design and unnerving coldness of it.
