Review of Soylent Green (1973) by Mathew G — 09 Sep 2008
Charlton Heston was in some good films during the seventies and this is one of the best ones. Again completely different from the book it was based on (Make Room, Make Room by Harry Harrison) but in this case, I prefer the film.
Good support from Edward G Robinson, Brock Peters and Chuck Connors. Not a very positive outlook for the future, but most sci fi films of the seventies were of a similar view.
