Review of Southside with You (2016) by X C — 28 Aug 2016

The first 20 or so minutes is awkward with the two leads reciting dialogue that seems mechanical and inorganic. From there it's smooth sailing with the pair demonstrating chemistry and the script developing a clever cat and mouse game to further the plot along and develop the characters efficiently.

The ending was sort of cliche and I wish it had been a bit more poignant, but it was thoroughly entertaining and consistently interesting.
