Review of Southpaw (2015) by Brendan N — 29 Aug 2015
The critics pulled this apart for the cliches but they never had too many issues with Warrior. The film is not self indulgent and is about redemption after hitting rock bottom. The film is strong and hopefully finds a shelf life just like Rocky.
I didn't expect to enjoy this film as much as I did, definitely a shock.
