Review of Southpaw (2015) by Declan G — 26 Nov 2015
An enjoyable film. Although it does follow the tropes of every single sports movie, providing cliché after cliché, Gyllenhaal's performance as well as the rest of the cast manages to make this film not just another boxing movie.
With good direction and a great score, I have to recommend this film.
