Review of Southland Tales (2007) by Dan B — 28 Apr 2009

This was one of the most awful, coolest movies of all time. Don't go into this flick expecting anything to make sense -- it won't. Rather, just expected an hour and a half of complete incoherent cool weirdness. As always, The Rock makes an showing. He's an awesome actor with a lot of range.

In many ways, the film seemed like a screen test of a lot of actors who were just hanging around with nothing much to do that day (similar to the Travolta movie "Be Cool"). This movie is worth seeing - especially if you're not sober heh.
