Review of Southland Tales (2007) by Alex T — 13 Mar 2011
A brilliant, albeit messy, collection of fantastic scenes. Although the film is a difficult watch, it'll no doubt be celebrated in years to come for it's genre abandonment. More a series of pop culture jibes, held together with funny moments that finds the cast out of their comfort zones, than a "film" as you're used to.
