Review of Southern Comfort (1981) by Mark E — 08 Feb 2009
Very entertaining but one of the few good films that could do with a remake or at least a bit of touching up digitally. You have to wonder if the National Guard in this provided some inspiration for the portrayal of them in First Blood.
Powers Booth is excellent and the Ry Cooder score fits like a glove.
