Review of Southern Belles (2005) by Jim B — 18 Jun 2011
I liked it. I'd seen this on cable in 2006, but not the first 1/2 hour or so. Laura Breckenridge, as Bell, is adorable and acted very well. Her smile alone helped make this film enjoyable. It's not easy using one's facial expressions to carry a scene.
This was the first film I'd seen Anna Faris in, and as Belle, she is funny, quirky, and independent. Seems some Southerner's here take this silly indie comedy much too seriously. It is a comedy, people.
