Review of South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (1999) by Shane M — 12 Aug 2013

Hmmm...I remember watching an interview with the makers of Family Guy where they asked them why they often put songs in their episodes. The reply was that it was a good way to use material that otherwise wouldn't be funny enough to put into the show.

This film is basically that concept taken to it's ultimate conclusion. It's not without laughs and it's got a pretty clever plot but there's a reason the show is 20 minutes long and it should probably stay that way.

I remember thinking this was brilliant though in '99...but then I was 20, so maybe I'm just turning into a grumpy old fart.
