Review of South of Pago Pago (1940) by Greg W — 18 Jun 2011
An idyllic island paradise and all is happiness ... until de old white devil shows up looking to scour the surrounding pearl beds! McLaglen is the head pirate, as ruthless a brigand as ever was, but no dummy as he comes bearing gifts of which the notorious Frances Farmer is chief.
Can innocent island boy Jon Hall stop the rape of his island kingdom and avoid the creamy clutches of Ms. Farmer? An old school adventure tale from the halcyon days before WWII and an easy smile.
