Review of Source Code (2011) by Abhishek G — 14 Nov 2012
The climax is ridiculous. If you believe in string theory, then there are already infinite no. of parallel universes and in one of them the explosion would be averted. So Gyllenhall doesn't have to create a new parallel universe, since it already exists.
All he can do is travel from 1 universe to another but that's not what they implied in the movie. To the point that he is using the vestigial memory of Sean to avert future bombings in his own universe it is fine.
But creating a new universe is just absurd.
