Review of Source Code (2011) by Wyland C — 10 Nov 2013
When I saw the trailer and the rating I knew this had to be a good movie.
What I did like. I really liked all of the performances especially from Jake Gyllenhaal. The concept of this whole time travel thing was good, and it was very well thought out. The directing was also very good and the characters had good character build up. I like how you learn more and more about what's going on as the film unravels. I also didn't know who the bomber was. The movie was suspenseful and had some pretty unexpected twists.
What I didn't like. So one big problem I realized is that this is a rip off of the movie Ground Hog Day, and if you've seen it you know what I mean. Although they did add A LOT of different things to it. Also the ending was a little predictable, but very satisfying. The way they ended it was satisfying but it leaves you thinking well what happens next now?
Although it had some problems overall it was a pretty satisfying Science Fiction thiller.
