Review of Source Code (2011) by Jack S — 19 Apr 2014
Stevens: "It's the same train, but it's different".
Source Code is one of those race against time movie with no flaws. For such a small movie, Source Code is perfect. Usually I like movies with long running times, but with Source code"s 1 1/2 hr movie length, it still gives you a lot to think about. Duncan Jones has a gift for storytelling and action. His first movie "MOON", was excellent. With Sam Rockwell as a troubled character, but with an excellent performance. Source Code has a well-written script and with top-notch performances, make up for a witty dialogue. All of this combines into a big blockbuster. Jake Gyllennhall was always a great actor. And he gives a powerhouse performance, for the ages.
