Review of Source Code (2011) by Vince B — 06 Dec 2012
Opening night film at SXSW and it was really a fun movie to watch. It also helped that we were there for the Q&A afterward. There is some loose science explaination in the film of how Jake's character jumps into the other person's body.
But if you just accept the science it was exhilarating movie. It was fun to see Jake trying to derail the bombers plans and how the love story develops with Michelle's character over the course of the same 8 minutes many times.
I wish the movie was a little longer. It was reminicent of Groundhog Day and the TV show Quantum Leap with a little Matrix mixed in. See it.
