Review of Sound of My Voice (2011) by Jenifer B — 17 May 2012
The movie was intriguing and takes you down the rabbit hole (basement) and that's fun for a while. But there were so many disconnects that the movie felt shoddily edited. Examples: Where did Clauss come from? How did he know about Maggie? Maybe he saw some sheet-bound hot chick walking on the streets and has a thing for ankles, noticed her tattoo and figured she was so strong out that he could control her? And the last thing Clauss says is, "let's call the lawyer" suggesting an awareness of Maggie's situation.
Also what was the woman with the DOJ doing with all the wires/faucets in hotel? What was with the young boy in the movie doing and what was the DOJ officer's supposition as to what Maggie wanted with kids.
