Review of Sound of My Voice (2011) by Matt K — 09 Oct 2012
A low-budget sci-fi that relies on backstory, characterization and what might be true has a slow burn with a mysterious ending. Two wanna--be documentarians discover a cult in LA and slowly get sucked into it until the ending snaps them out of it.
Another solid outing by newcomer Brit Marling. Reveals the insidious nature of cults and acts as a warning to all who might be drawn to them.
