Great 2/3 of a documentary, and I say that because while the first two thirds are about the history of the sound city music studio the last third is watching a studio session with various artists for an upcoming album.
Not that the last third was not enjoyable but the movie definitely changes direction. There are a lot of music legends interviewed about a recording studio that has a great history.
