I had to watch this movie for my English AVID class. I thought that the movies was lacking with action, the only action in this movie was the part when she got her arm bitten off by the shark, even romance movie have more action than this movie, but I still think its a good movie.

the movie inspired people to keep on trying against all odds, showing people hope when you lose your arm.the movie has too much faith and religion. the movie shows how her ambition to keep surfing and how it help other kids to keep on trying and not give up.
