Too bad the inspiring story was turned into a preaching, bible-thumping, Christian ego-trip. I don't mind a subtle reference to religion in movies, especially when it is true to the story. However, the Christian motive kills the ability to watch the movie without feeling like a manipulation is taking place.
Nothing is more irritating than the idea that God saves certain people for a special reason while allowing others to suffer. This film brings that idea to new heights, ruining the movie for those of us not following the Christian belief.
