Soul Surfer isn't a great movie, but it does have a lot of heart. Plus, it's hard to dislike a movie that stars AnnaSophia Robb -- she's delightful. Carrie Underwood, on the other hand, is a better singer than she is an actress.
This is an inspiring story, and it's kind of refreshing to see a Hollywood film that is so unabashedly faith-affirming.
