I watched Soul Surfer on a late night flight from Jakarta to Sydney, so it wasn't the best of situations to fully appreciate any film but I really enjoyed it. It plays a little like a tele-movie in its pacing and style (and it didn't help that I was watching it on a mini screen on the back of a chair of course) but I found myself drawn in and became rather emotionally involved in Bethany's courageous journey.
Well worth a watch, especially knowing it's a true story.
