Given Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes died soon after the filming, I wonder if it would have been better had they been alive for the premiere. Also, would the original version been different? Malcolm Lee stated the film went through heavy re-editing after Mac and Hayes both passed away.
Still, the film was OK but not really original. It was the Blues Brothers meets...pick any road trip film in the last 10 years. Adam Herschman and Sharon Leal were the two best parts of the film and Mike Epps should have been given a bigger role.
Not too bad and had some pretty funny parts.
