Alright, it's a bit slow for today's standards. But the black/white topic is handled genuinely (see what black actors signed up for it, they are beyond a doubt) and if you just don't take the actual story (a white guy popping pills to turn black) too seriously, it's an enjoyable picture.
I've seen it many times and still like it. :).
