Review of Sorry, Wrong Number (1948) by John E — 22 Sep 2010
Great suspense film starring Barbara Stanwyck as a sick woman who overhears a phone conversation talking about murdering someone later that night. Of course, as the film goes along, we learn that the victim will be Barbara.
Obviously based on a play, considering all the phone conversations that lead to flashbacks, but it's still a very entertaining film. Barbara and Burt Lancaster are great as always, though Barbara does got a bit crazy a bit too often in the film.
Still, it's a a cool set up and the ending is just perfect.
