Review of Sorority Row (2009) by James K — 18 Aug 2010
The opening scene sets the film up with lots of young women with great figures gyrating to music. From the very beginning you know this isn't going to be an intelligent thriller. The plot is poorly executed, let down by a bad script and poor acting.
The holes in the plot are like the grand canyon and in the end the killer doesn't seem like a psycho or do he/she (in case you do actually end up watching this garbage) have any real reason to go around killing people.
The fact all this happens on a street, not an isolated area, where hundreds of gun shots ring out and a house is on fire but yet no one bothers to call any emergency services is even more ridiculous. I can see pubescent teenage boys thinking this film is great, everyone else should avoid like the plague.
