Review of Sordid Lives (2000) by Vera H — 19 Nov 2007
Hilarious, captivating story about the lives of a classic Texan family. The cast was great, and the script written by someone who obviously knows a thing or two about the South. However, technically, the film was rather lacking.
The cinematography was functional but not visually appealing at all. Still, the story and characters carry the film to a good place. I imagine it's a hit-or-miss kind of film.
