Review of Sordid Lives (2000) by Giffy G — 23 Jul 2008
This movie had some really charming moments, I won't deny those moments. They include Leslie Jordan's portrayal of Brother Boy, and Beth Grant's commitment to the rubber-band schtick. Sadly, though, the movie is poorly organized, the camera work was insipid (not just predictable, but insipid), and the resolution was unfulfilling, as there wasn't much to resolve.
The actors are to be commended for making me want to watch this to the end.
