Meryl Streep is one of the greatest living actresses of her day, which is today ;-). And this movie is proof she is. Now she isn't the greatest IMO, but in this movie she shines like a candle in the wind.
Streep is Sophie- who is happy,sad, angry, comedic, and tragic at the same time. You want to see Streep before The Devil Wears Prada? Watch this and you will see why one Oscar is enough.
