Unbelievable performance from Meryl Streep, and the film is worth watching just for that. Having said that it is a brilliant film and although you have to wait until the end to find out what "Sophie's choice" is, it can't fail to affect you.
Kevin Kline and Peter Macnicol also did great jobs.
