Review of Sophie's Choice (1982) by Tara S — 27 Mar 2009
A beautifully told film which is so perfectly led by Streep and supported superbly by MacNicol and Kline. The horrors of the Holocaust come to the forefront and the choices which had to be made to survive are treated with delicacy.
Streep gives the performance of a lifetime showing her versatility through her accent and speaking in several languages. A must see for all.
