I finally got around to seeing this cultural touchstone.. I gotta say, while Streep does a fantastic job of speaking with a believable Polish accent, and speaks actual Polish and German with what appears to be flawless ease, this is a pretty SLOOOOW movie.
... The scene at the end takes one's breath away, though.. Heart-breaking..
