Not that many Americans know about Sophie Scholl, but for those looking for an introduction to her story, you couldn't ask for a better one than this film. It's a fantastic story that I found both shaming and also encouraging.
I think Julia Jentsch is going to be the next Hanna Schygulla (a superb German actress).
