Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Phillip J — 06 Jun 2007
How is it that an atheist can make a better movie from a Christian worldview than most Christians?
This is an extremely powerful story about the nature of true freedom. It's an extremely moving film that relies mostly on the great performances.
The movie would be a masterpiece if it were not for the cinematography (while not bad, it could have been much better) and the synthisized musical score (I think).
Despite these aspects, it's still an excellent film. Highly enjoyable.
