Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Jens S — 17 Jun 2007
A very intense look at a dark chapter in history, and a few young people who tried to resist the Nazi government. The movie strictly and chronologically follows Sophie Scholl and her way through the instances of Nazi justice.
Of course the film mostly consists of dialogues, but especially those between Sophie and her interrogator are extremely well acted and gripping. Of course this isn't exactly a feel-good movie but a very well made and important history lesson none the less.
