Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Kathryn H — 06 Sep 2007
A beautifully shot, well acted and engaging account of heroism in an age guided by fear (wow I sound pretentious). at any rate, the tension in this film is undeniable. it's extremely interesting to see sophie and the inspector test each other's beliefs and willpower.
this is a fascinating story in general, and the movie puts you right there in a way only a good film can.
