Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Brian B — 18 Feb 2008
Sophie Scholl: The Final Days is a very good film. The story of a 21 year old woman in Nazi Germany who disagrees with the views of Hitler and the Reich. Along with her brother and other students she distributes literature speaking out against the Nazis.
Her and her brother get arrested for high treason. This film is more of a court room drama, but it is still quite moving. Certain parts of the dialogue remind me of modern day America, but I won't get into my political views.
Great acting, and great story. Definately worth seeing. Overall 3.5/4 Stars Grade = B+.
