Review of Sophie Scholl: The Final Days (2005) by Millo T — 11 Jun 2010
The story has the force of the truth and the real facts, but what sometimes happens with this kind of stories is that they are sometimes not strong enough and quite predictable. However, the powerful acting of Julia Jentsch, with a naturality that makes everybody stop and make silence around here, making her words resonant, and her almost pure image, creates impacting moments each time she speaks about huge concepts such as freedom.
Also good acting from Gerald Alexander Held.
