Review of Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie (1996) by My Name Is Ross Hey Hello! — 29 Aug 2008

Ok, so I've been a Sonic fan for years, but never a fan of Anime. So this film was a mixed blessing. I enjoyed its fast pace and it's ability to hold onto the feel of the original 2D games, but the plot was lacking (Sara loves being a hostage?) and the voices needed work.

But my "fanhood" holds on to give this one four solid stars.
