Review of Sonic the Hedgehog (2020) by Grendizer — 19 Feb 2020

Solid video game movie. Although there is not much to see about the video game world, since it mostly follows Sonic on our world, the movie has a good flow, without being to tedious. Everything is at the right dose, "not too much, not too less". Even Jim Carrey is, in my opinion, not overused ans super hyper, as I thought he would. For a kids movie, it doesn't dumb down it's plot, nothing is over-explained, no character overused. It's just right.

It really should be praised for what it is. A solid Video game movie. Only thing weird was, that the reaction of people, seeing Sonic for the first time, was pretty nonchalant, whereas the main human character, nearly had a stroke.
