To be honest; The story of this movie fits on a sheet of paper, BUT it´s a fun movie. The action is well dosed and Jim Carrey as evil Doctor Eggman owns every scene he´s in. He acts like in the good old times, when he starred in movies like Ace Ventura or The MAsk.
The redesign of Sonic pays tribute to the source material and you can find lots of hints to the game here and there. So, if you want to delight in nostalgia and just wanna have a good time at the movies, I recommend Sonic The Hedgehog.
