This is a masterpiece in my eyes of a sonic fan. It has tons of references and does the characters justice after so long of awful writing from sega and pontaff. However even if you aren't a sonic fan I feel like you'll still enjoy this movie.
It has good action, good effects and some pretty decent and heartwarming writing. I don't understand how anyone can dislike this movie, especially since most of the bad reviews don't give any reasoning as to why it's bad.
But for me, this is peak video game movies and I'm SUPER excited for sonic 3.
