Review of Songs from the Second Floor (2000) by Lee D — 16 Jun 2007
Far from being a masterpiece, but memorable nonetheless. The symbolism is not subtle whatsoever, the saving grace of the film lies in the direction: the long shots allow audiences to sit back and laugh at the absurdity of our lives.
We all know why the symbolism signifies so well because we live the experience of this film everyday, even if unconsciously.
