Review of Song of the Sea (2014) by Vanda K — 17 Jul 2015
Just like in The Secret of Kells the animation and the visaul world of the movie is fantastic. Every second gives you a bit of eye candy and you can't really take your eyes off the screen. The only problem for me was that it copies the characters and plot from the much appreciated Secret of Kells and realising that I felt a bit cheated.
Not to mention that Saoirse is a bit annoying halfway through the movie. I'd still recommend it, but watch Tomm Moore's previous animated triumph first.
