Review of Song of the Sea (2014) by Late R — 18 Aug 2017
Tom Moore's 'The Secret of Kells' is a wonderful animated feature that really captures the spirit of something unique, and let me tell you now that he's gone right ahead and one-up'd it with 'Song Of The Sea'.
Everything about the film is magical: the story, the characters, the animation and the score all work so well together that you can't help but be enchanted and moved. It really is almost a sin that this film didn't win at The Academy Awards.
