A quietly stunning, gorgeously shot biopic about enigmatic Irish folk singer Joe Heaney that's as much a tribute to his homeland as the artist himself. Assembled almost wholly as a collection of painterly b&w static shots, this unconventional biography is light on narrative but overflowing with the stark beauty of its cinematography and Heaney's haunting songs.
